St. Patrick's Irish Picnic

To celebrate the end of summer, all are invited to join the St. Patrick Church and School in McEwen for their annual barbecue picnics. Kick-off the weekend of fun with St. Patrick’s 170th annual Irish Picnic from 5:30-11 p.m. on Friday, July 26, and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, across the street from the church. Along with the 21,000 pounds of barbecue pork that will be slow cooked over hickory bark coals for a full 24 hours, and the 4,200 chicken halves option for those who come on Friday, the community tradition includes live music and dancing, games, and more.

Enoch's Farm House B&B

Warm hospitality, a serene atmosphere and beautiful countryside await visitors at Enoch's Farm House Inn Bed and Breakfast. Located near McEwen, this restored farmhouse is an old Civil War farmhouse and is part of the historic Enoch's Farm. Enjoy the peaceful waters of Little Blue Creek or visit the Enoch's Grist Mill and Museum, Annie's Pantry Gift Shop and Liberty Baptist Church, all located on the farm.
