Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship
August 3 - August 8

The Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is one of the most iconic and high-energy events in the country, held annually at the legendary Loretta Lynn Ranch.
Often referred to simply as “Loretta’s” or “The Ranch”, this week-long championship is the largest amateur motocross race in the world and serves as the final proving ground before riders turn professional. Each year, more than a thousand of the nation’s top amateur racers earn their spot through a rigorous qualification process, with only the best competing across dozens of classes for a national title.
Held August 3–8, 2026, the event transforms the Ranch into a full-scale motorsports destination. While the racing itself is intense—featuring multiple motos per class throughout the week—the experience goes far beyond the track. From the moment attendees roll through the gates, the atmosphere is electric, blending competition, community, and a deep-rooted passion for motocross culture.
Set on the rolling hills of a 6,000-acre property, the championship offers a true immersive experience. Families, teams, and fans camp on-site, creating a temporary “motocross city” complete with vendors, entertainment, and nonstop activity from sunup to sundown.
More than just a race, this event is a launchpad for future champions. Legends of the sport—including names like Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, and Eli Tomac—once lined up at these same starting gates before moving on to professional success.
Whether you’re a die-hard motorsports fan or just looking to experience something uniquely electric, the Amateur National Motocross Championship delivers a one-of-a-kind blend of adrenaline, tradition, and community that defines summer at the Ranch.
