St. Patrick’s Irish Picnic

To celebrate the end of summer, all are invited to join St. Patrick Church and School in McEwen for their annual barbecue picnic. Kick off the weekend of fun with St. Patrick’s annual Irish Picnic on the last weekend in July. The event takes place across the street from the church.

Featuring 21,000 pounds of barbecue pork slow-cooked over hickory bark coals for 24 hours, along with 4,200 chicken halves for those who attend on Friday, this community tradition also includes live music, dancing, games, and more for a weekend of fun and celebration.
